Is that an ironic joke? What emotion? I have no clue about the actor, but seeing as how she is a professional, she must know what she is doing. Carol Danvers's character is that of a narcissistic **** who thinks she is above everyone else, better, and fails to show a shred of emotion.įrom the moment the character is introduced, rather than making a connection with the audience, she just annoys them. It's a superhero movie, but there is no hero's journey. My main issues with the movie are how they fail to develop the character and end up giving her an annoying and single-dimensional personality. Marvel could have done wonders with the character, and they somehow did such a bad job writing the script they made even the actor look bad. ![]()
